Congratulations to Ann and Goff Ellis who celebrated their Golden Wedding Anniversary on 26th July 2019.

During mass on Friday Fr. Paul blessed them giving thanks for marriage.

On Sunday they were joined by their four boys and their families at mass and were presented with a Papal Blessing. Then afterwards everyone was invited into the Church Hall for a buffet and drinks.

Goff gave a short address during which he said that their wedding 50 years ago was one of the first to be carried out at St Anne’s.

The family then went on for a meal at the Rugby Club.

Ann & Goff are pillars of St Anne’s with Ann running the Choir and Goff being a Eucharistic Minister, Reader and occasional Banjo player accompanying the choir.

Everyone at St Anne’s gives their best wishes and hopes they have many more years together.
