The children preparing for their First Holy Communion took their next step at mass on Sunday 19th March.

The session during the week focused on “Offering Ourselves”. The children were asked to think of things they were thankful to God for.

At school the children made plaster depictions of themselves which they brought forward to the altar during mass symbolising offering themselves back to God.

One of the children introduced a short Liturgy and the children stayed on the sanctuary while Fr Kelly offered up the bread and wine.

It was lovely to see so many of the children and their families in Church.
